It started out as a funny argument between me and my friend Jackie. I pointed out that George was fuzzy and had tusks like a wooly mammoth…
So then I started referring to him as mammoth and she didn’t like it, but I had to show her that mammoth’s were super adorable and mammoth was a term of endearment…
Adorable right? Thus…this was born…

Because of the whole “Mammoth George Incident” as I like to call it I really do have a stuffed mammoth named George. I bought it just for that purpose and he sleeps on my nightstand with the occasional bed cuddle.
